DMC Magnum Tweed yarns

Magnum Tweed by DMC is a giant ball of wool weighing 400 grams and 840 meters. These large balls allow you to weave large items using just one ball of yarn, such as blankets, ponchos, shawls and other knitted or crocheted garments.
This yarn is presented in plain colors with reserve and with small specks of different colors. To form these fine specks, thin threads are combined throughout the ball, which gives a nice tweed effect to your work. Despite being a yarn presented in XXL balls, its thickness is medium, so your garments, accessories or home accessories will have a fine finish, being a very warm and comfortable fabric.

The composition of Magnum Tweed is:

74% Acrylic
20% Wool
6% Viscose
This mixture confers a high quality fabric. Acrylic preserves the qualities of the work in better condition for much longer, since it avoids balls and fluff in the fabric, being much more resistant fabrics.
Wool provides that touch of warmth so pleasant to this wool, for more warm garments and accessories.

The characteristics of DMC Magnum wool are:

Each ball has 400 grams and 840 meters.
Its thickness is recommended to knit with the 4 - 5 knitting needles and the 5 mm crochet hook.
You only need 1 ball to make a sweater or jacket.
Mount 18 stitches and do 24 laps to knit a 10 x 10 cm square.
It is a wool suitable for machine washing at a maximum of 40ºC.
Ironing is allowed.
It is not suitable for tumble drying.
Certified Oeko-Tex® Standard 100.
With a single ball of this yarn you can knit a blanket of approximately 1 x 1.40 meters.
