Katia Alpacolor Yarns

Katia Alpacolor is a fine-weight stranded yarn, ideal for creating warm garments for fall and winter. It is a blend of superfine alpaca and polyamide. Alpacolor is available in a color chart, where you will find solid and nuanced shades, with a milleraies effect. You can choose between creating single-color garments, striped garments with thousands of different colors, or combining both to achieve unique effects. You can use it to create garments such as sweaters and cardigans, or to create accessories such as scarves, collars, and hats, among many other ideas.

The characteristics of Katia Alpacolor yarns are:

- 50 gram, 125 meter ball
- It is recommended to knit with 3.5-4 mm knitting needles or a 4-4.5 mm crochet hook
- To make a 10x10 cm sample, cast on 22 stitches and work 28 rows
- It can be machine washed up to 30°C with a short spin
- It is not suitable for machine drying. Suitable for ironing at a maximum of 110°C
- To knit a size 42 sweater, approximately 9 balls are needed
